Their Published Description:
Greenhouse Gallery of Fine Art is a traditional gallery featuring nationally and internationally recognized artists, many featured in fine museums and prestigious collections. As one of the most respected galleries in the United States, Greenhouse Gallery has combined traditional art experience with the expansion to a 12,000 square feet location to create one of the largest retail fine art galleries in the country.
Experience the emotion and exceptional light quality captured in fine oil paintings by 21st century masters, the outstanding designs and vibrant color of art glass and bronze by leading artists.

Editors Description:
This is a traditional gallery, so much infact that they even have a few walls of still lifes and flowers hung salon style. Okay even though they sell work that would look fantastic with your grandmother’s living room set, its of extremely high quality. There is nothing wrong with a horse painting, as long as it’s the best crafted horse painting out there. And these realistic oils of flowers may not change the current contemporary dialogue, but they are painted extremely well.

Their Published Description:
Unit B (Gallery) is an artist-run exhibition space founded in Chicago in May 2002. Re-opening in San Antonio, TX in January 2006 under the direction of artists, Kimberly Aubuchon and John Mata, Unit B is entirely funded and functioned by exhibiting artists, curators, and a volunteer gallery staff. Unit B will showcase and promote emerging contemporary artists and curators from San Antonio, Chicago, and around the globe in group exhibitions that include 2-D, 3-D, performance, video, film, and new media that engage, excite, and challenge our guests, as well as provide insight into the on-going creative process and dialogue in an intimate domestic setting.  We do not 'represent' artists, we network them with galleries and spaces in other cities and countries that share a similar mission.

Editors Description
Wow, these guys are pretty cool.  I love the idea that they will not represent you but use their extensive knowledge and connection to hook your work up with a gallery that shares your mandate that you may not know about. Amazing. We need more people and spaces  like this.  The founders started out as artists and then began working with Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago, so they have knowledge of the business side of art. They are interested in fresh art, and if you are struggling and jobless they think that’s even better because you have much more time to devote to making your stuff and will not judge it against you.
