Editors Description
This is a commercial gallery located in a fantastic part of Montreal, a city I love. Its mandate is to sell work, so the work represented is not super conceptual nor would I say especially contemporary. (A word way overused as far as I am concerned) It’s figurative or abstract painting where process and technique seem to be the biggest concern. It’s not bad, but it does tend to refer to formalism much more than contemporary painting or conceptual work. If this is you ,apply.... apply. It would be worth a trip to Montreal for the patisseries and beer alone. Make sure you have a Poutine, while you are there, a super yummy favorite!!!! (French fries, covered with mozzarella cheese curds and gravy!)
