I was curious to see what contemporary Western Painting would look like.  Lots of Horses, and bronze cowboy was what I was thinking. To this galleries credit, although it has its share of Indians and soldiers in fields they are all painted in ways that I was not expecting. This was a really refreshing look at Western Art, and I was really surprised. This is not a gallery that represents Novice painters, it’s a western gallery with a completely new way of looking at the old and expected. If that sounds like you and you can’t keep Sitting Bull from haunting your imagery, than this is the gallery for you.
