The Art Gallery is a teaching gallery which strives to serve the educational and cultural needs of the diverse audience that is present in a public institution and in Illinois Community College District 505
Exhibits are selected to illustrate a wide range of traditional and innovative work, recognized and new talent, proven forms and fresh ones. The Gallery displays work by contemporary artists of regional and national status.

Editors Description
As a college gallery they don’t have much room after the Faculty Show, MFA shows, the pre-requisit  regional Biennial Water Color or colored pencil  show,  and the undergraduate show for your proposal.  But showing in Academia has all kinds of advantages if you can slide into one of their two open slots. It’s the kind of gallery that can show a high school  show and an internationally famous show back to back and not loose an iota of respectability.  Ahh..the halls of academia.  You know what you are getting into, not a lot of money but an semi-educated audience that just might appreciate you particular idea.
